A Skyhorse Publishing Book Blog

Welcome to our blog for all things Skyhorse! We aim to bring you fun, book-related updates to keep you informed, so you don’t miss out on new releases, author events, and other horsey-business. It is a goal of ours to have as much variety in our blog as we do in the books that we publish, so there’s a little something for everyone! Meet our primary blog contributors:

Leslie D. Davis
Digital Marketing Manager and Publicist

I’m from a quaint little farm in Indiana, where cowboy boots were my go-to. I still wear my boots here in the city sometimes, and country line dancing is my jam. When I’m not horsing around at work, I’m often exploring New York City or traveling abroad with a camera strapped around my neck. I’m new to photography, and I also spend a little time each day practicing violin, meditating, and studying German. I love to learn! I look forward to meeting some of you as you comment on our posts. Auf Wiedersehen!

Digital Marketing Assistant

I am a local, comic book loving, coffee addicted, playwright and literature nerd. Originally hailing from (hold your breath) New Jersey, I’ve worked professionally in New York theatre production since my early teens and have a lifelong obsession with the written word. When not being a bookworm, I spend my free time making comedy and working on various creative projects. I can’t wait to see what great reads we discover together. Stay tuned!

I’m a born and raised New Yorker, which means the “hustle and bustle” attitude is ingrained in me and I tend to not stay in one place for long. I’m constantly moving trying to grow, meet new people, and explore. However, since I can’t do that 24/7 I like to escape into the alternate realities of books. You can not only learn something new but the written word can also connect readers from around the world. Books are pretty spectacular, don’t ya think? Can’t wait to go on literature adventures with all of you! And remember, In Omnia Paratus!
