A Skyhorse Publishing Book Blog
Welcome to our blog for all things Skyhorse! We aim to bring you fun, book-related updates to keep you informed, so you don’t miss out on new releases, author events, and other horsey-business. It is a goal of ours to have as much variety in our blog as we do in the books that we publish, so there’s a little something for everyone! Meet our primary blog contributors:
Leslie D. Davis
Digital Marketing Manager
Hey Carousel readers! I’m a Midwest transplant (Go Boilers!) in love with this city, my job, and my two kittens. Jack of all trades, master of none: amateur oil painter, modern dancer, writer, world traveler, postcard collector, and dedicated lifelong student. I’m currently learning violin and German! I think that’s why I’ve always been such an avid reader–I love to learn. I look forward to meeting some of you as you comment on our posts. Auf Wiedersehen!
Claudia D. Lucero
Digital Marketing Assistant
Hi everyone, Claudia here! As a lifelong New Yorker, I take full advantage of the new museum exhibits, street fairs, and buy foreign language books. I studied languages and film at NYU. So I can get easily lost in black and white films and non-translated books. I started my publishing career by interning with Penguin Random House and Thames & Hudson. Reading is the ultimate key to pushing your limits and growing. It’s exciting to come in and work on positive and empowering projects. Keep a lookout – epic reads are headed your way.
Marion L. Schwaner
Hi bookworms! I’m originally from Long Island and graduated from Marist College (go Red Foxes!) studying PR, psychology, music and global studies. This is my first time working in the publishing industry, but I’ve always had a soft spot for books, mostly historical fiction and mysteries! When I’m not working you can easily find me at a concert, baking desserts, shopping at @francescas, relaxing at the beach or chilling with my dog @sammy_the_dachshund.
A special thank you to Nick Grant for being our tech-wizard, artist extraordinaire, and general know-it-all.
